Hemp Collective is an award-winning, Australian-made and owned brand manufacturing natural hemp-based hair, body, and pet care products, now stocked in over 320 retail outlets nationally.

Founded in the Byron Shire by Maxine and Mike Shea, Hemp Collective was born from personal health experiences and a shared belief in the power and potential of the hemp plant. What began with the hand-growing and harvesting of three hectares of industrial hemp quickly evolved into a broader mission: to create everyday products that are part of the solution, not part of the problem.

For the past nine years, Hemp Collective has specialised in premium natural personal and pet care products made with Australian-grown industrial hemp. The range includes solid shampoo and conditioner bars, soaps, balms, face and body oils, and pet care products—designed to deliver performance while reducing environmental impact and offering practical alternatives to conventional personal & pet care.

Maxine and Mike are not only the founders but also the formulators behind the range, taking a hands-on approach to product development and ensuring transparency, quality, and environmental responsibility are embedded in every product & it’s packaging. With backgrounds in sustainability and zero-waste living, the team understands how small, thoughtful choices can have a meaningful impact on personal health, animal wellbeing, and the environment.

IHemp NSW is committed to promoting the hemp industry in New South Wales by providing support and networking for hemp growers, hemp processors and other interested parties. We respect your privacy and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information.
